“ran up to” Jesus
“fell on his knees before” Jesus
called Jesus “Good teacher”
and in his own mind (his own understanding) he had kept God’s commandments: “all these I have kept since I was a boy”

Swimming in the Pool is Not the Same as Taking a Bath
What Jesus sees is what matters most

“Jesus looked at him and loved him.”

Jesus saw him (imperfections and all) & Jesus still loved him
Jesus love for the man, wouldn’t allow Jesus to let him stay in his own “misunderstandings” and darkness.

Jesus brought light to that which was previously hidden in darkness for the man
