The disciples, while sitting there

HEARD: a sound

Like a violent wind from heaven

SAW: a sight

What seemed to be tongues of fire rest on each of them

WERE FILLED: with the Holy Spirit

Began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them

Other “God-fearing Jews” were now affected by what they heard from the disciples.
Barriers

Language
Born Jewish (nationality & raised in the Jewish Religious faith) verse converted to Judaism (born another nationality and became part of Jewish Religious faith)

NO Barriers

They ALL HEARD THE SAME THING.

When God’s TRUTH rubs against an individual’s personal truth, and they’re not the same,
 it makes people feel very uncomfortable

People either

Ignore God’s Truth
Adjust their truth to match God’s Truth
Try to tear down God’s Truth
