Compassionate Leadership has always been central to God’s heart, and is a driving force in Jesus’s ministr
Compassion Motivated the Mission
Jesus didn’t just have a mission—He had COMPASSION
Jesus’ Why, How, and What
- WHY→ His love for and obedience to the Father—this was the divine motivation behind everything He did.
- HOW→ By being present, healing, teaching, proclaiming, and discipling in towns and villages.
- WHAT→ Restoring the lost and broken through the heart of a Shepherd
The kingdom didn’t start with a plan. It started with compassion
- Compassion isn’t just an emotion—it’s a holy ache that moves us toward someone else’s pain
- Jesus didn’t just point out the sheep’s problem—He became their shepherd
- Jesus didn’t just pray for help—He raised up harvesters
What Does All This Mean?
- Jesus didn’t just see the crowds—He sees you.
- He didn’t just feel something—He moved toward them. And He’s still moving toward us.
- We are not just recipients of compassion—we are called to mirror it.
